Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is also known as the New Bangkok International Airport. The fifth busiest airport in Asia, it serves Bangkok, Thailand. This is the main entry point into Thailand. The New Bangkok International Airport is located 16 miles east of downtown Bangkok. Suvarnabhumi Airport is the main hub for Thai Airways International, Bangkok Airways, Orient Thai Airlines, and Thai AirAsia. Delta services this airport along with other major world airlines including United Airlines, British Airways, and Emirates. The New Bangkok International Airport has the capacity to serve 45 million passengers a year. There are seven levels and seven concourses within one large passenger terminal.

Another option is an entrance in the Samut Province via an elevated highway in the south of Bangkok. There are a total of five main entrances into the New Bangkok International Airport. Taxis are available at the ground level. There are four express bus routes that go to downtown Bangkok. The cost is 150 baht. The city operates twelve bus routes from the public center’s bus terminal. Passengers need to take a shuttle to the terminal.
