Milas-Bodrum airport (BXN) is situated on a breathtaking peninsula that juts out from Turkey and into the Aegean Sea. The peninsula is located only a few kilometers from the Greek island of Kos. Servicing the beautiful Mediterranean resorts around Bodrum, once home of Herodotus, and the ancient city of Milas - the new and modern international terminal and the older and original domestic terminal play host to around four million passengers per year. Most passengers come during the warm summer season which runs from May to October. The accommodation ranges from budget hotels to upscale resorts. The nearest option for accommodation is in nearby Milas, only 10 miles south of the airport. The high season runs from May to October when pre-booking is generally necessary.

• Parking: There are both short and long-term parking lots located within walking distance of both International and Domestic Terminals.
• Directions & Transportation: Driving from either Bodrum or Milas to the airport, take the Highway D330 and follow the signs. The highway is located only one mile east of the International Terminal. The journey from Milas is about 20 minutes while from Bodrum, in the opposite direction, it is about 45 minutes. For those requiring public transport, there is an airport shuttle running between the airport and the Bodrum city center, stopping at a few destinations along the way and costs only €3. There are also the HAVAS coaches that run in in conjunction with Turkish Airlines to and from the Domestic Terminal and Istanbul. There are plenty of Taxis available from both terminals. For rates, consult the Terminals' display boards. A trip to Bodrum costs around €40. Most fares range from around €0.70-€0.80 per kilometer.
