The Boise Airport (BOI), also referred to as Boise Air Terminal or Gowan Field is a joint civil-military, commercial and general aviation airport. The airport has two parallel runways that serve a number of major airlines and low-cost carriers such as Delta, American Express, Frontier Airlines, Horizon Air, United Airlines and Salmon Air with direct flights to many major US cities such as Minneapolis/St. Paul, Salt Lake City, Denver and Chicago. It also serves many private aviators, the Idaho Air National Guard and the United States Forest Service. The airport serves around three million passengers per year.

• Eating & Drinking: There are many cafes, fast-food outlets such as McDonalds and bars located in both the Main Terminal's Food Court and in both Concourse B and C.
• ATM: There are ATMs located on the second floor of the terminal, in both the Ticket Lobby and the Food Court.
• WiFi: Free WiFi Internet is available throughout the airport.
• Shopping: News and gift shops can be found in both the Food Court and in Concourse B.
• Luggage: There are baggage carts located at the airport's entrances and exits and in the baggage claim area. There is also a Skycap service available. For lost and found items, go to the third floor of the terminal building. For items lost during transit, contact your airline.
• Airport Hotels: There are three places of accommodation located in the vicinity of the airport - all on the Airport Way. These include the Airport Motor Inn, the Sleep Inn and the Vista Inn. More accommodation can be found in nearby Boise.
• Disabled Travelers: The airport is ready equipped for those with disabilities. Two elevators with access to all three levels are located in the main terminal. TTY/TDD Telephones can be found on the second level in the ticket lobby while wheelchairs are also readily available for those who need them. These and any other assistance can be acquired from the information desk on the first level in the lobby.
• Parking: There are three types of parking available at the airport. Short-Term, Garage Parking and Long-Term Surface Parking. The short-term lot is located directly across from the passenger terminal and costs $20.00 per day and $0.75 per half hour. On the other-side of the short-term lot is the garage lot and the long-term surface lot. At the garage lot the charge is $10.75 per day and $0.75 per half hour whilst the long-term is $8.50 per day and $0.75 per half hour. Outside the terminal building is curbside parking for quick pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Directions & Transportation: Driving from Downtown Boise, take the 9th Street south until it becomes Capitol Blvd., then Vista Ave and then finally Airport Way. From the west (Oregon, Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, Eagle) take the I-84 east until the Vista Ave./Air Terminal Exit #53. From the east, (Twin Falls, Mountain Home) take the I-84 west to Vista Ave./Air Terminal Exit #53. For those requiring ground transportation when arriving at the Boise Airport, go to the ground level exit near the baggage claim. Here you'll find taxis, Courtesy shuttles, revenue shuttles and buses in color coded areas.
