The Aeroporto G. Marconi di Bologna (BLQ), also referred to as the Bologna Airport or Guglielmo Marconi Airport is an international airport serving the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The airport was named after the Bologna born, Italian electrical engineer and Nobel laureate, Guglielmo Marconi. The airport serves a number of major European Airlines and low-cost airlines including Air France, Air Italy, British Airlines, Lufthansa and RyanAir with direct flights to many major cities through-out Europe.

• Eating & Drinking: There are numerous cafes, bars, snack bars and restaurants located on all three levels of the Main Terminal. Most of which serve typical Italian cuisine.
• ATM: ATMs and two Travelex Bureau de change can be found on the Ground and First floor of the airport terminal. There is also a Banca Carisbo - Gruppo Sanpaolo IMI located on the ground floor offering a range of financial services.
• Shopping: There are plenty of shops ranging from news and gift stores, alcohol and cigarettes and high-end fashion located throughout the airport. Most shops can be found on the first floor in the departures area.
• Luggage: For any lost luggage, contact the Lost and Found Office on the ground floor (+39 051 6479647) with your baggage receipt.
• Airport Hotels: There are no on-site airport hotels. However, the Sheraton is nearby with a regular shuttle service available.
• Disabled Travelers: The airport offers the following services - reserved parking spaces in close proximity to all terminal entrances, a waiting room for disabled passengers which is located on the first floor and equipped with a washroom and health bed, wheelchair friendly lifts and lifting apparatus's for aircraft boarding.
• Lounges: The Marconi Business Lounge (MBL -Lounge) is located on the First Floor of the airport. Open daily from 05:00 to 21:30, the lounge offers comfortable armchairs and sofas, WiFi Internet, printing and other business services, Satellite TV and a cafeteria.
• Parking: There are several Express CarParks available in the vicinity of all three terminals with pedestrian walkways linking to the terminals. It is recommended that they are used for no more than 5 hours. For use of over five hours, it is recommended one uses the medium/long-stay parking lots. In the express areas, expect to pay € 2,20 per hour and € 22 per day. In the medium/long-stay parking lots, expect to pay € 9.50 for up to 7 hours and € 15.00 per day. Free shuttle buses run from the long-stay parking lots to the terminals.
• Directions & Transportation: When driving from Milan, take the A1 until the Bologna Borgo Panigale Exit and then take the by-pass to the airport. Driving from Padova, take the A13 until the Bologna Arcoveggio Highway and then the by-pass to the airport. From Ancona, take the A14 until the Bologna San Lazzaro Exit and then take the by-pass to the airport. There are several busses serving the airport. A shuttle running between the airport and the nearest Bologna central railway station leaves every 20 minutes. There is a direct bus running to Modena that leaves every two hours, nine times a day. As well as bus leaving daily to Siena. At the Bologna central railway station, you'll be able to find connections throughout Italy.
