Cape Town International Airport (CPT) serves Cape Town and is a major gateway into South Africa. Cape Town International Airport is the second biggest airport in the country and the third largest in Africa. It deals with approximately 8 million passengers per annum and this is expected to reach 14 million by 2015. Cape Town International Airport is composed of domestic and international terminals which are connected by a central terminal and is used as a hub for South African Airways. • Eating & Drinking: There is a wide variety of restaurants and cafes available. These include fast food joints like Subway, KFC and Wimpy and cafes such as Duce Café and Mugg and Bean.
• ATM: ATMs and Bureau de change are located in both domestic and international terminals. There is a Master Currency in Arrivals.
• WiFi: Wireless Internet is available at the dometic and interntiaonal reminals. Tourists can pay by credit card.
• Shopping: There is a large selection of shops incluing Vodashop, Accessorize, Sunglass Hut, Exclusive Books and Link Pharmacy. Big Five Duty Free are in the international terminals.
• Luggage: Baggage can be stored in domestic arrivals and international departures. Lost articles are taken to the police station where they are registered.
• Airport Hotels: The Road Lodge (021-934-7303) is located on the site of the airport. Lorraines on Lincoln Guest House is positioned approximately 4 miles away and Protea Hotel Tyger Valley (021-913-2000) 5.5 miles. The Courtyard Hotel Cape Town (021-448-3929) and the City Lodge Pinelands (021-685-7944) are both approximately 7 miles away. Complimentary telephones are available in the arrivals section of the airport with which to make reservations.
• Disabled Travelers: Facilities include disabled parking, toilets, elevators, ramps and wheelchairs on request. Airlines should be contacted prior to flying.
• Lounges: The Premium Lounge, in the domestic and international departures terminals, is for all passengers who can either pay per visit or purchase a pre-paid card for multiple visits. The VIP room is in the domestic departures terminal. Call 21-937-1233 for more information. 
• Parking: A five-story car park is available beside the airport. The cost is about $2 for up to 2 hours, $6.40 as a daily maximum and $20.60 weekly. Free shuttles are provided for transport between the parking lots and terminals.
• Directions & Transportation: By car, drivers should the N2 Freeway and take exit 16, Airport Approach Road. Shuttle buses run from both domestic and international terminals and provide transportation to the airport. They cost approximately $15.50 for one person with an extra $4 per person. Metered taxis are available outside the airport. Tourists are advised to use Touch Down Taxis (21-919-4659).
