Just west of the mosque youﾒll find the Corniche which was once a thriving resort area. Now itﾒs a lovely kitsch beach front with cafes, shops and nightclubs. One of the most exciting things to do in Casablanca is to shop. You can get a good bargain in nearby Fes on all kinds of traditional Moroccan goods like pottery, leather goods and a range of other items, perfect as souvenirs.
