Corfu International Airport I. Kapodistrias (CFU) is located in Corfu, south of the city. Corfu International Airport I. Kapodistrias was named after Ioannis Kapodistrias who was the first Greek Governor and a Corfiot European diplomat. Destinations are within Europe and the airport deals with a large number of domestic and international airlines including Air Berlin, Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook Airlines.CFU deals with 2.2 million passengers a year. It consists of one terminal and six gates. Most traffic occurs during the summer months and is made up of holidaymaker charter flights.

• Disabled Travelers: Facilities include toilets and telephones. Passengers should contact their airline before traveling.
• Parking: There are only 120 parking spaces and no long-term parking is available. The lot is positioned outside the terminal building.
• Directions & Transportation: If travelin by car, take Route 25. There are two local buses, 5 and 6, which provide transportation to the airport. The journey is about 10 minutes to the center of Corfu. There is also a taxi rank positioned outside the terminal.
