Czech Airlines is the largest Czech air carrier and boasts a young and modern fleet in comparison to many European competitors. Based in the capital of Prague, Czech Airlines offers connections to European capitals and major destinations in North America in partnership with the SkyTeam air alliance.Founded in 1923, the airline is the 5th oldest in the world and began by offering flights between Prague and Bratislava. Shortly after being founded, the airline became a part of IATA. Following the alliance and an expansion of the fleet, the network of destinations was expanded. The airline became a member of the SkyTeam, allowing customers to benefit from a much wider range of destinations. Czech Airlines offers over 60 destinations including London, Paris and Madrid, carrying over 5 million passengers each year. Together with partners in the SkyTeam, Czech Airlines can offer destinations in around 150 countries around the world including a full range of major North American cities. In 2007, Czech Airlines founded a cheap airline called Click4Sky, offering cheap flights to around 20 countries. The frequent flyer program OK Plus offers a range of advantages for members.
