Direct Air is a regional charter airline based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The airline does not currently directly own any airplanes and offers charter services using aircraft from other companies. Direct Air offers flights operated by various different operators including USA Jet and Xtra Airways. The airline was formerly known as Myrtle Beach Direct Air. Since being founded in 2006 the company has entered into and dissolved various agreements with flight operators and used a range of focus cities from the central hub at Myrtle Beach International Airport. Charlotte County Airport remains a major focus for the airline, while a range of domestic destinations including Orlando, Niagara Falls and Newark are also supported. Chicago (Rockford) and Montreal (Plattsburgh, NY) can also be accessed via regional airports. Although both Niagara Falls and the Montreal cosmopolitan region are in Canada, the airports served are located in the USA.
