Dublin Airport (DUB) is the biggest and busiest airport in Ireland, as well as one of the busiest airports in Europe. The main airport for most of the country, it served an incredible 23.5 million passengers in 2008 and has an average of 60,000 passengers per day. From November 2010, a second terminal signaled a major expansion. The terminal was designed to be capable of handling up to 15 million passengers per year, and have boarding gates and parking for up to nineteen aircrafts, as well as a new multi-storey car park facility.

• Disabled Travelers: There are specially adapted toilets and lifts throughout the airport, as well as disabled parking areas in the Short Term B and Long Term Red Parking Areas.
• Lounges: The Anna Livia Departure Lounge at Dublin Airport is open to all customers, no matter what their airline or class of ticket may be, for the price of 25 euro per person for up to three hours. It is located close to Departure Gates 300-313.
• Parking: Dublin airport has 3,600 short term and 14,400 long term parking spaces, all of which are open 24 hours a day. The short term parking is just a few meters from the terminal entrance, and ideal for those dropping off or collecting friends, family or colleagues. The long term parking is 20 minutes from the terminal building, but is constantly serviced by a courtesy shuttle bus.
• Directions & Transportation: Transportation to the airport is varied, with public bus services being one of the most popular options. The Dublin Bus, Aircoach and Airlink services all take passengers to the city center and various other parts of Dublin, while numerous other national services have reasonably priced routes stretching over the country. Taxis are also plentiful, but it costs approximately 25 Euro to get to the city center. Car rental companies operate from 6am until 11pm in the Arrivals Hall.
