The Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) is one of Europe's major international airports, located just outside Germany's business capital, Frankfurt am Main. The airport is the third busiest in Europe and the ninth busiest in the world. The airport serves the most international destinations in the world. The airport has two terminals that are easily connected via the Sky Line shuttle. The airport serves over 125 passenger airlines from low budget to big international names such as Singapore Air, Qantas, British Air, Finnair, Emirates and Lufthansa. Hundreds of destinations worldwide can be reach daily on direct flights. The Frankfurt International Airport is also the hub of Lufthansa, Germany's national carrier and for Air India and its North American services.

• Eating & Drinking: Built like a self-sufficient small city, you'll find a range of cafes, restaurants, bars and take-aways right throughout both terminals. Relax in a bar or cafe or choose a restaurant with specializations from Asian cuisine to German and Italian or fast food outlets like McDonalds and Burger King.
• ATM: There are numerous banking facilities, money exchanges and ATM's located throughout both Terminal 1 and 2. You will find a number of Travelexs and a SED Bank with complete banking services in Terminal 1. There are also a number of major German banks located in the Frankfurt Airport center opposite Terminal 1.
• WiFi: The Deutsche Telekom provides Internet ports at some of the gates.
• Shopping: There is an extensive range of shops from Duty Free stores to Brand name fashion outlets. Choose from products from fashion, perfume, books, gifts, tobacco, wines and spirits.
• Luggage: Free luggage trolleys are available throughout both airport terminals which are lift compatible. An escort and porter service is also available as well as transport boxes and crates for large items. For transport boxes, contact the FGS airport baggage service in the Arrivals halls B and E, advance reservation is also recommended. A lost property service office is located in the first level of Terminal 1 whilst 24-hour left luggage facilities can be found in both terminals.
• Airport Hotels: The Frankfurt airport has about 25 hotels located either on-site or near the airport with free shuttles for passengers. Hotels include the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt, The Sheraton Hotel, NH Frankfurt Airport and the Intercity Hotel at Cargo City Süd. • Disabled Travelers: The Frankurt Airport is fully equiped with facitities for disabled persons. Facilities include elevator and ramp access, automatic doors, adapted telephones and washrooms, reserved parking spaces, wheelchair accessible Sky Line shuttle, buses, trains etc and available electric buggies. There are also waiting rooms for disabled persons provided by the Fraport arrival service and a passenger transport company called Behinderten – und Krankentransport Kaster that offers transport for disabled persons. It is advised that those needing assistance whist traveling contact their airline beforehand.
• Lounges: Many of the major airlines offer lounges for their passengers. It is best to consult the Frankfurt International Airport web-page or your airline in advance.
• Parking: There is a wide range of parking facilities located at the airport to suit every need. Each terminal has a multi-story car park and/or undergound park with 24 hours a day access to the terminal. Near terminal 1 there are the underground and multi-level part lots P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and at terminal 2 there are parking lots P8 and P9. Discounts apply for the spaces if one books in advance. There are also parking facilities designated for female drivers and a secure park lot in the Terminal 1 area. Prices range from €2.50 for first 30 minutes, €4 per hour and €25 oer day, and €115 for the first week.
• Directions & Transportation: Driving to the airport from Frankfurt, head towards the Frankfurter Kreuz junction of the A3 (Cologne-Munich) and A5 (Hanover-Basel) autobahn freeways. Both terminals are clearly signposted. The journey takes around 20-25 minutes. There are plenty of taxis located outside both terminal entrances. For those requiring public transport, Frankfurt airport has two passenger railway facilities. The Regional Train Station is located beneath Terminal 1 via platforms 1-3. From here passengers can catch S-Bahn commuter trains into Frankfurt and other trains to Offenbach, Hanau, Rüsselsheim, Mainz and Wiesbaden. There are also RegionalExpress (RE) and StadtExpress (SE) trains traveling to other destinations in the region. For long distance travel to other major cities in Germany and connections beyond, go to platforms 4-7 for the AIRail Terminal for a number of regular high-speed ICE services. Regular buses can be found outside Terminal 1's Arrivals hall and outside Terminal 2's Arrivals/Departures halls. These buses run to various locations in the Frankfurt and greater area region. Taxis are also readily available outside both terminals.
