Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) is located in Northern Vietnam, serving the capital city, Hanoi, and is the largest airport in the region although it is the smallest in the country. Noi Bai International Airport consists of one terminal, with plans to construct a second, and two runways. It serves approximately 8 million passengers a year which is a third of all international services between the three Vietnamese airports. Direct flight destinations include Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore. Noi Bai International Airport is a hub for Skyteam, a branch of Vietnam Airlines, with other airlines including AirAsia, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways and Nok Air.

• Parking: Both short and long-term parking is available in Noi Bai International Airport.
• Directions & Transportation: Bus services 7 and 17 are available for transportation to the airport and run from 5am to 10pm every 15 to 20 minutes. The journey takes about an hour from the city center and costs 30¢. Airport minibuses cost $2 but only depart once full. Taxi ranks are positioned outside the arrivals area. The journey costs about $15 and take about 40 minutes from the city center.
