Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) is situated southeast of Harrisburg center and serves the region of South Central Pennsylvania. The code stands for Middletown which is a suburb of Harrisburg. Long-term parking costs $2.20 per day, $8.50 per day and $59.50 a week. Shuttle buses are available between the airport and long-term parking lots 24 hours a day and approximately every 10 minutes.
• Directions & Transportation: By car the airport can be reached from State Route 230, Interstate Routes 83 and 283, the Capital Beltway and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. By bus, Route 7 provides transportation to the airport. It is available Monday to Friday, 6am to 8pm, and Saturday, 7am to 6pm. Taxi ranks can be found on the first floor of the parking garage.
