Huntsville International Airport (HSV) is situated southwest of Huntsville and serves the Tennessee Valley area. It consists of one terminal and 12 gates and is the biggest airport in Alabama for cargo transport. Huntsville International Airport deals with approximately one million passengers per annum and five major airlines. Flight destinations are within the United States of America including the cities Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Charlotte and Washington. The airport is also known as Carl T. Jones Field, named after a son of G. W. Jones who was a former firm partner.
