Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is located north of Jacksonville and is a gateway to southeast Georgia and Florida. Jacksonville International Airport consists of one terminal and three concourses: A, B and C. However, B is currently not being used as it is being reconstructed. Flights are to destinations within the United States of America and include major cities like Houston, Chicago, Detroit and Washington. Jacksonville International Airport deals with approximately 6 million passengers a year. It runs as both a public and civil-military airport. • ATM: There are ATMs located on the lower level by baggage claim and before the security checkpoint on the upper floor.
• WiFi: Internet access is available in JAX.
• Shopping: There are a number of shops within the airport, all of which open from around 5.30am until 9pm. Names include CNBC Newsstand, Brooks Brothers, NY Times Bookstore and Paradies’ River City Travel Mart.

• Airport Hotels: There are two hotels on airport grounds: Clarion Hotel Airport Conference Center (904-741-1997) and Microtel Inn and Suites - Jacksonville (Airport) (904-741-4911). There are also hotels within a 2 miles radius which include Comfort Suites (904-741-0505), Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Airport (904-741-4001) and Red Roof Inns - Jax Airport (904-741-4488).
• Disabled Travelers: Facilities include elevators, toilets and wheelchairs on request. Passengers should contact their airline prior to flying to arrange extra assistance.
• Lounges: There is an USO Lounge for military personnel and their families which is located on the lower level beside the Information booth. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Parking: There is an hourly garage for short-term parking which charges a daily maximum of $16. The long-term, daily garage costs $12 a day and the daily surface lot charges $10 as the daily maximum. There are also three economy lots: lots 1 and 2 charge a daily maximum of $6 and 3, which is only available for holidays and special events, $25. There are free shuttles provided to and from Jacksonville International Airport.
• Directions & Transportation: By car take the I-95 to Airport Road which is exit 363-B. The airport is located close to the Interstates I-95 and I-295 and Routes 5, 102 and 115. The INS-33 AirJTA bus provides transportation to and from the airport and route information can be obtained from the information booth in the passenger terminal. The taxi service is provided by Gator City Taxi outside of baggage claim.
