Juneau International Airport (JNU) is situated northwest of Juneau, the capital of Alaska, and is the only airport in the city. It acts as a hub for Alaska Airlines and flight destinations include Anchorage, Seattle, Petersburg and Tenakee Springs. Juneau International Airport is located next to a wildlife sanctuary called the Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge.

• Eating & Drinking: In the airport there is a Glacier Restaurant. The restaurant section is open from 6am to 8pm and the bar, which includes food service, is open form 11.30am to 8pm. There is also Cup O’Joe Coffee Bar which is open from 5.15am to 1.15pm.

• WiFi: There is free wireless Internet which is supplied by GCI and available throughout the airport.
• Shopping: There is a Hummingbird Hollow Gift Shop which sells newspapers, magazines, gifts and snacks.

• Airport Hotels: There is no hotel on site however there are a number in the vicinity. These include Best Western Country Lane Inn (907-789-5005), Super 8 Juneau (907-789-4858), Travelodge Hotel Juneau (907-789-9700) and Best Western Grandma’s Feather Bed (907-789-5566), all of which are less than a mile away from the airport.
• Disabled Travelers: There are TTD telephones, parking spaces and wheelchairs on request. Passengers should contact their airline in advance for extra assistance.
• Parking: Short and long-term parking is situated opposite Juneau International Airport. For short-term parking the first 15 minutes are free, then the cost is $1 for the first hour, followed by $2 for each additional hour with no maximum charge. For long-term parking the cost is $3 for the first 2 hours then $1 for each additional hour with a daily maximum of $12 and $75 per week.
• Directions & Transportation: By car take the Glacier Highway and turn off onto Simmons Drive. There is a service provided by Capital Transit for transportation to the airport. They are located opposite the terminal and the cost is $1.50 to the center. Taxi – There are four main companies located outside the airport, opposite the terminal.
