Kelowna Airport (YLW) is located north of Kelowna and is the gateway into south British Columbia. Annually it serves nearly 1.5 million passengers and is one of the busiest airports in Canada. It consists of one terminal and one runway. Kelowna Airport is home to four passenger airlines: Air Canada, Central Mountain Air, WestJet and Horizon Air. Flight destinations are to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Seattle and Victoria with seasonal journeys to Las Vegas and Mexico. A special feature of Kelowna Airport is a glass rotunda with a fountain housed in the passenger terminal.

• Eating & Drinking: Before YLW security there is Tim Hortons, which is open from 4.30am to 10pm, and kyway Lounge. After security this is the WhiteSpot Restaurant and Lounge which is open from 4.30am to 10pm and Skyway Café and Bar.

• WiFi: There is a business center in the departures lounge which offers Internet.
• Shopping: In the main terminal there is Skyway News and $15 Store. In departures is Gifts of the Okanagan, which sells Duty Free, and Okanagan Estate Wine Cellar, which stocks wine from Okanagan’s wineries.
• Luggage: Carts are available in arrivals and outside the departures area. The charge is $1 which is refunded on return. For lost property contact the information booth.
• Airport Hotels: There is no hotel on site. However, there are a number in a 5 mile radius of Kelowna Airport, all of which are 1 or 2 stars. These include Comfort Suites Kelowna (250-861-1110), Super 8 Motel (250-542-4434), Days Inn Kelowna (250-868-3297), Fairfield Inn and Suites Kelowna (25- 763-2801) and Okanagan Seasons Resort (250-860-5707).
• Disabled Travelers: Facilities include text telephones, parking lots, automatic doors, elevators, toilets and wheelchairs on request. Passengers should contact their airline prior to flying.
• Parking: For both short and long-term parking the initial 15 minutes is free. Then, in short-term, the charge is $1 for the first hour, $2 for each extra hour then a daily maximum of $11.60. For long-term the cost is $1 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $7.70 and a weekly charge of $40.50. Curbside parking is available with a charge of $1 per half an hour.
• Directions & Transportation: By car it can be reached via highway 97. Airporter bus services are outside arrivals and provide transportation to and from the airport. Group rates vary from $5.80 to $48. There are four taxi companies located outside the airport. A trip to the center of Kelowna costs approximately $34.70.
