John Paul II International Airport Krakow – Balice (KRK) is situated near to Krakow in Balice village. John Paul II International Airport Krakow – Balice consists of two terminals: terminal 1 is for international flights and terminal 2 for domestic destinations. A free shuttle links the two. • Eating & Drinking: In Terminal 1 there are three Coffee Minutes which all open at 5am but close at 12pm, 9pm and 11pm. There is also Panirama Cafe, Bistro and Restaurant, open from 6am to 9pm. In Terminal 2 there is only Coffee Minute.

• Directions & Transportation: By car it can be reached via motorway A4 and exit 7. There are two routes per day and one at night provide transportation to the airport. A single ticket brought on the bus costs $1.05. The train runs from 4am to 11pm, costs $2.40 and takes 17 minutes. There is a free shuttle bus for the 200 meters from the train station. Taxis can be telephoned from the airport and cost about $15 to the city center. The journey takes about half an hour.
