Lanzarote-Arrecife Airport (ACE) is situated southwest of Arrecife in Lanzarote and acts as a gateway into the region. It is popular for tourists because it is positioned by major holiday destinations including Las Playas and Puerto Carmen. Lanzarote-Arrecife Airport consists of two terminals: Terminal 1 deals with international destinations and Terminal 2 with domestic flights. Flight destinations are to the other neighbouring islands and within Europe. Major airlines using Lanzarote-Arrecife Airport include Ryanair, Thomas Airways and Air Berlin. There is an aviation museum in the airport which explains the aviation history of the region and is open from 10am to 2pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

• Eating & Drinking: There is a cafeteria in arrivals but the majority of food outlets are located in departures. These include Pizza Hut, Haagen Dazs, Burger King, Cafeteria Meda and Caffe Ritazza.
• ATM: Four ATMs are located throughout the airport. There is as Bureau de change situated in departures on the second floor in the Travel 2000 office.
• Shopping: Shops are located after check-in in the departures lounge. They include Relay newsagents, Divers toy store, Cesar Manrique gift shop, clothes outlets, a Sibarium delicatessen, Air Zone supermarket and Duty Free.
• Luggage: There are baggage trolleys in ACE. For lost property the offices are on the ground floor of each terminal or contact 928-846-001.
• Airport Hotels: There is no hotel on site however there are a couple within the vicinity in Puerto del Carmen. These are Sol Lanzarote (928-514-888) and Beatriz Playa (928-512-166). There are also some located on the Costa Tequise which include Occidental Teguise Playa (928-590-654) and Gran Meliá Salinas (928-590-040). These are approximately a 20 minute drive from the airport.
• Disabled Travelers: Facilities include toilets, ramps, parking spaces and larger doors. Passengers should contact their airline prior to flying for extra assistance.
• Lounges: There is the Aena VIP Lounge in departures. Contact (928-846-345) for more information.
• Parking: Both terminals of Lanzarote-Arrecife Airport have car park facilities. The first half an hour is free then the charge is about $2 a minute for up to the next hour. The daily maximum is $13 for the following 4 days then $10.50 per day. There is a ticket machine centrally placed in front of the car parks.
• Directions & Transportation: By car use the Autovia Arrecife-Yaiza (LZ-2) on which there are signs. Bus services 22 and 23 provide transportation to and from the airport. The station is located by arrivals. Taxi ranks are positioned next to arrivals. The journey to Arrecife costs approximately $15.
