General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport(BOS, or Logan Airport as it's commonly referred to, is one of the top 20 busiest airports in the United States. It is also the largest major air-hub in the New England area. The airport serves over 26 million passengers per year with flights to destinations throughout the United States as well as Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and Mexico. The airport acts as a major hub for AirTran Airways, American Airlines and Jet Blue Airlines. Boston Logan airport has four terminals (A, B, C and E) as well as six runways. Other major airlines include Air Canada, Air France, British Airlines and Lufthansa.

• Parking: There are four parking choices available at the airport. For short and medium-term parking, choose between Central Parking, Terminal B Garage and Terminal E Parking. Central Parking has convenient access to all terminals via pedestrian bridges. Be sure to park in the signed areas closest to your terminal. Terminal B Garage offers close range parking to Terminal B. However, all vehicles here are subject to a security search. Terminal E Parking offers close range parking for Terminal E. All parking in these areas costs $3.00 per half hour for the first few hours, $24 between 7 and 14 hours and $24 per day afterwards. • Directions & Transportation: Depending on which direction you're traveling, there are plenty of signs guiding one to the Logan Airport. From the west, take the l-90 east to the Ted Williams Tunnel and then the l-90 East Exit 26 to Logan. From the north, take the l-93 south to the Exit 24B and the Callahan Tunnel, then take the Route 1A North to Logan. Or, Take the Route 1 South, exit at Route 60 and then follow the signs to the Logan Airport. From the south, take the l-93 North to Exit 20 and the Ted Williams Tunnel, then take the l-90 East Exit 26 to Logan. There are plenty of public transport options available from shuttles to buses, trains and ferry. The best way to get to down-town Boston is via Water Shuttle or Ferry which take only seven minutes. The airport has a free shuttle running to the Logan Water Shuttle Dock. There is also a courtesy bus linking the airport to Boston's underground subway train network. A train to central Boston will only take 20-30 minutes. There are various buses connecting to various areas of Boston and shuttle buses to many Boston Hotels.
