London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is located in the western region of London in the Borough of Hillingdon and serves the London area. London Heathrow Airport is the biggest airport in the city and the world’s fifth busiest although it handles more international passengers than any other worldwide. Annually, it deals with over 66 million passengers. It is served by 90 airlines and is a main hub for British Airways, BMI and Virgin Atlantic Airways with flights to destinations worldwide. London Heathrow Airport currently consists of five terminals, Terminal 2 of which is currently undergoing redevelopment, and two runways.

• ATM: ATMs and Bureau de change are located in all terminals both before and after security.
• WiFi: Wireless Internet is available via Boingo throughout the airport at a charge. Internet booths are located in all terminals also at a charge.
• Shopping: There are over 80 stores throughout the airport including Burberry, Cartier, Excess Baggage Company, Harrods Department Store, Nokia and Sunglass Hut. World Duty Free is available in terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5.

A bus service is provided by Hotel Hoppa from terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 to hotels close to the airport.
• Disabled Travelers: Disabled toilets and elevators are located in all terminals. Other facilities include telephones, parking spaces, ramps and wheelchairs on request.
• Lounges: Lounges can be found after security. The Servisair Executive Lounge is in terminals 1 and 3 and provides complimentary refreshments. The 4Deck Lounge is in Terminal 4 and consists of a business zone and three other floors with a variety of entertainment options.
• Parking: Short-term parking is accessible from each terminal. The first 30 minutes costs $3.80 then $6.50 for an hour, $21.65 up to 4 hours, $71 for 24 hours and $142 for 2 days with a charge of $71 for additional days. Three long-term lots are located by terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5. A free shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes from these terminals. Without reservations the charge is $24.70 daily for up to 4 days after which the daily fee is $23.80.
• Directions & Transportation: By car, London Heathrow Airport can be reached via the M4 or M25 then the appropriate exit for the terminal required. The Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes and provides transportation to the airport. A one way ticket costs $27. There are three underground stations and a single ticket to central London costs $6. There are numerous bus routes to locations in west London and National Express coaches to cities throughout Britain. Taxi ranks are by all terminals and charge up to $83 to central London.
