Saint-Exupéry International Airport (LYS) is situated in Colombier-Saugnieu, southeast of Lyon in France. Saint-Exupéry International Airport is the fourth busiest airport in the country and it deals with about 8 million passengers per year. The airport is a main hub for Air France and EasyJet and serves the Rhone-Alpes region. Saint-Exupéry International Airport consists of two terminals and two runways. Flights are to destinations mainly within Europe but also include cities worldwide. Saint-Exupéry International Airport was renamed from Lyon Satolas Airport in honour of Antoine de Saint Exupéry who was a French pilot and writer from Lyon.

• Eating & Drinking: Most food outlets are located in the Center and terminals 1 and 2. They include the restaurants OL Brasserie and Nhube and fast joints like Pizza Hut and Bakehouse Pierre.
• ATM: ATMs are located in the Center and by gates 15, 21 and 27. Bureau de change is situated in the Center on the second level.
• WiFi: Wireless Internet is available throughout the airport building.
• Shopping: There are shops located in all terminals. These include Fashion Elite, Escale, Danael and Relay. There is also a Duty Free Shop.
• Luggage: Carts are located in the terminals, arrivals and in the parking lots. For lost luggage there are information desks in arrivals in Terminal 1 and departures in Terminal 2.
• Airport Hotels: The Sofitel Hotel (47-222-8374) is located over the connecting hall. It is useful for passengers arriving late or leaving early. Hotel Kyriad (47-223-9090) is also located in the grounds of the airport and there is a free shuttle bus available. There are also a number of hotels within a 5 mile radius of the airport including NH Lyon Airport (47-230-550) which opened in 2009, Hilton Lyon (47-817-5050) and Ibis yon Part Dieu Center (47-895-4211).
• Disabled Travelers: Toilets are available for disabled people throughout the airport. Other facilities include parking spaces and wheelchairs on request.
• Lounges: There is a VIP Lounge available in Saint-Exupéry International Airport.
• Parking: There are five parking lots available at the airport: P0, P1, P2, P5 and P6. Short-term parking is available in P0 and there is an elevator available to and from the airport building. It is also available in P1, from Terminal 1, and P2, from Terminal 2. Long-term parking is possible in P5 ad P6 and there is a free shuttle bus which runs every 10 to 20 minutes from 4.45am to 11.35pm.
• Directions & Transportation: By car, Saint-Exupéry International Airport can be reached by the A-42 when driving towards Geneva or the A-43 when headed towards Chambery. Buses provide transportation to the airport every 20 minutes. The service is available between 6am and 11.20pm and costs $10.60 for a one way ticket. Taxis cost between $50 and $75 to Lyon and $130 to 1 $60 to Saint-Etienne. The TGV is 5 minutes by foot from the airport and there is a taxi rank in front of it.
