Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) is Mumbai's only airport for passenger traffic and the busiest in South Asia, handling some 25 million passengers annually. Named after a 17th century emperor, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport was formed by a merger of two previous airports. The two main terminals, connected by a free bus shuttle, are subdivided into 1 A-B (domestic - formerly Santa Cruz) and 2 B-C (international - formerly Saharl). More than 50 airlines operate scheduled services to and from Mumbai, including many major international carriers. In addition, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is a central hub for the Indian airline, Jet Airways, providing domestic and international flights.

• Eating & Drinking: The widest range of dining options is provided in the Food Court on the mezzanine level of Terminal 2B and includes KFC, Pizza Hut and Indian Paradise. Smaller cafés and snack bars are situated in the departure areas, but not in arrivals.
• ATM: ATMs are located on the arrival levels of Terminals 1B, 2B and 2C, and on the departure level of Terminal 1B. Bureau de change are situated in the international departures zones.
• WiFi: Free WiFi service is provided throughout the airport.
• Shopping: As of 2010, the range of shops is in the process of being expanded. Duty Free shops are located airside in Terminals 2B and 2C, where there is also a pharmacy. There is no shopping in the arrivals area.

• Disabled Travelers: All levels are wheelchair accessible by elevator, and disabled toilets are situated throughout the airport. Designated disabled parking is also available.
• Lounges: Airlines providing lounge service to first and business class customers at the appropriate terminals are Air India (departure, transit and arrival), British Airways, Emirates, Jet and Lufthansa. Lounge access is available to premium passengers with alliance members. Some lounges may open only when check-in starts. The O2 Spa is accessible to all passengers and offers services such as massages and manicures.
• Parking: There are currently 3600 parking spaces at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, a figure set to rise following major construction. Spaces are available from Rs. 60 per four hours, with 'premium' spaces closer to the terminals costing Rs. 120.
• Directions & Transportation: By road, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is accessible by National Highway 8, and is well signposted from central Mumbai. Depending on traffic, journey times may range from 60 to 120 minutes. The airport is connected to the Mumbai Suburban Railway system, with connections available to and from the downtown Mumbai CST Station. A reservations counter is located in Terminal 2. Taxi travelers are advised to use prepaid taxis, with fares between Rs. 450 and 600. Tickets can be bought from counters inside each terminal building.
