New Hampshire is famous for natural beauty and frigid winters. The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is one convenient way to enter the state, while Bostonﾒs Logan International is the largest airport in New England. The city of Manchester is a tourist destination in its own right, and is a revitalized historical mill town. For skiing enthusiasts, the state boasts several great destinations including Black Mountain, Pats Peak and Gunstock. The White Mountains are also a scenic region in the state, perfect for hiking and backpacking. Mount Washington is the largest mountain in the Northeast, and located in New Hampshire. Furthermore, the Appalachian Trail is very popular for outdoor activities. Some interesting cities within New Hampshire include Concord, Salem and Dover, each with a quaint, colonial feel which may interest history enthusiasts. Many tourists also visit the state during the fall for its famous colorful foliage and Indian Summers.

Outside of New Hampshire, there are many other interesting states to visit. Maine to the northeast boasts many beautiful wooded areas and the Arcadia National Park, as well as popular fishing holes for vacationers. Massachusetts is to the east, and is home to Boston where visitors can expect amazing museums, vibrant nightlife, and many of the earliest historical landmarks. Vermont is a quite rural state, located to the west of New Hampshire, and adds to the wide array of landscape one can find in the region of New England, with some other great opportunities to witness the foliage.
