New Mexico is visited by tourists throughout the country for the unique blend of Native American and Americana art in Santa Fe. In Santa Fe, there is an unusually large concentration of artists, collectors and brilliant art museums, which should keep art enthusiasts thrilled. Though Santa Fe is the capital of New Mexico, and the largest tourist attraction, the nearest airport is actually located in Albuquerque, the largest city in the state. Both cities, however, provide the most exciting nightlife in New Mexico. There is not only an interesting blend of art in New Mexico, but also parks and landscapes. Some of the parks in the state include Bandelier National Monument, Carlsbad Caverns National Park and White Sands National Park, each with a unique attraction. New Mexico is also home to many Native American reservations and people, pueblos, and artwork. New Mexico has enough to keep anyone of any interest entertained during a stay.

New Mexico has a great location, being surrounded by several other interesting states. To the west, Arizona offers the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest National Park, and the Navajo Nation for entertainment and educational experiences. Utah, to the northwest, is home to the NBAﾒs Jazz, making it a great place to enjoy some live basketball action. Salt Lake City, Utah was also home to the Winter Olympics and is superb for extreme winter sport enthusiasts. Oklahoma has only a portion of the border of New Mexico, but it is still a close visit. Colorado is located north of New Mexico, and is home to the Rocky Mountains.
