Midland International Airport is located northeast of the city of Odessa, Texas. It is the 9th busiest airport in the state, having served just under 500,000 passengers in 2007. The largest airline carrier in the airport is Southwest Airlines. Midland International serves four airlines in total, and has one airport terminal split into three levels. The updated terminal was constructed after the previous terminal began to age, and was completed in 1999. The airport has four runways.
