Piarco International Airport (POS) is based in Piarco, southeast of Port of Spain, Trinidad. The airport deals with approximately 2.5 million passengers per annum and serves the Trinidad and Tobago region along with one other airport, Crown Point Airport. It acts as a hub for Caribbean Airlines, the national airline for the area, Liat and Amerijet International. Piarco International Airport is composed of one runway and two terminals: north, which deals with passenger traffic, and south, which handles general aviation, cargo and helicopters. Flights from Piarco International Airport are to destinations within the United States of America, Canada, South America, Central America and Europe.

• Eating & Drinking: There are a number of dining options available throughout Piarco International Airport ranging from cafes and bars to fast food joints and restaurants. Food outlets include Pizza Boys, KFC, Subway, Rituals Coffee House, Church’s Chicken and Ali’s Candy Shop.
• ATM: Four ATMs are available throughout Piarco International Airport. There is a Bureau de Change run by the First Citizen’s Bank T&T Ltd which is open from 6am to 10pm.
• WiFi: Free wireless Internet is accessible in the check-in area, customs and departures and on the second floor in Pizza Boys.
• Shopping: The range of shops at Piarco International Airport sell gifts, souvenirs, health care products, jewelry, music and entertainment. Names include Glen’s Jewellery Ltd, Amusement Games Plus, Piarco Airport Florist and Stechers – Piarco Cigar and Liquor. Duty Free shopping is available in the Airside Terminal.

• Airport Hotels: There is no hotel located on site. The closest hotel to the airport is Bel Air International Hotel (868-669-4771/3). Further out are Courtyard Port of Spain (868-627-5555) which is about 10 miles away, Crowne Plaza Hotel (868-625-3366) which is about 15 miles out and Hilton Trinidad Conference Center (868-624-3211) which is 17 miles from the airport. For further assistance once at the airport there is an information desk open 24 hours a day in the atrium.
• Disabled Travelers: Elevators and adapted toilets are available in the airport. Other facilities include ramps and hearing aid devices at the information desks.
• Lounges: There is a VIP Flyer’s Club Lounge located before security in the departures area. Access is for members only or $20 for a daily pass. There is also the Caribbean Airlines first class lounge, managed by the airline.
• Parking: There is one main parking lot which is located in front of Piarco International Airport and provides both short and long-term parking. The rate is 80¢ per hour with a daily maximum of $4.80.
• Directions & Transportation: By car, Piarco International Airport is clearly signposted from Chaguanas. There is no public bus service available so taxis are the easiest transportation to the airport. At the airport, they can be booked from the taxi dispatcher located by the customs exit and official vehicles have an ‘H’ marked on the number plate. The journey costs about $20 to Port of Spain.
