Portland International Airport (PDX) is situated northeast of Portland, south of the Columbia River, in Oregon. The airport deals with nearly 15 million passengers per annum and serves the Portland metropolitan area. It acts as a hub for Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines and SeaPort Airlines. The airport consists of one terminal building, which is composed of five concourses, and three runways. Flights are to destinations worldwide, including non-stop routes to cities within Mexico, the Netherlands and Japan. • Eating & Drinking: The majority of food outlets in Portland International Airport are located in front of the ticketing area. Others are positioned in the concourses. Types include restaurants, cafes and bars like Wendy’s, Grill and Beaverton Bakery, Starbucks Coffee, Panda Express, Pizzicato and Gustav’s Pub.

• Directions & Transportation: By car, the main roads to reach Portland International Airport are Interstate 5 and 205. There are a number of buses and coaches which provide transportation to the airport. TriMet MAX provides a rail service. Tickets can be purchased from the arrivals area and from the train station which can be found on Airport Way. Taxi ranks are located outside the arrivals area and the drive takes between 20 and 45 minutes from central Portland.
