Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is based between Raleigh and Durham in North Carolina. Raleigh-Durham International Airport deals with around 9 million passengers per annum and serves the Research Triangle Metropolitan Region of North Carolina. • Eating & Drinking: Food outlets at Raleigh-Durham International Airport are located in both terminals 1 and 2 and range from cafes, including Starbucks and Cinnabon, fast food joints, like A&W All American Food and KFC Express, and restaurants, for example Godfather’s Pizza and 42nd Street Oyster Bar.
• ATM: A large number of ATMs are located throughout Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Bureau de Change is located in Terminal 2 and in the baggage claim area.
• WiFi: Wireless Internet is provided by AT&T and can be accessed for $3.99 throughout the airport.
• Shopping: Shops can be found in both terminals and sell a large selection of products like gifts, books, fashion accessories, clothes and pharmaceuticals. Duty Free is located in Terminal 2.

For further assistance there are information desks located in the baggage claim areas of both terminals. Most hotels provide a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport.
• Disabled Travelers: Elevators are in the ticketing, security and baggage claim areas at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. All restrooms provide adapted toilets. Other facilities include parking spaces and wheelchairs.
• Lounges: The US Airways Club is based in Terminal 1, opposite Gate A22. In Terminal 2 opposite Gate C3 after check-in is the American Airlines Admirals Club. Another lounge, the Delta Air Lines Sky Club, is due to open in December 2010.
• Parking: Short-term and long-term parking lots are located within walking distance of Raleigh-Durham International Airport terminals. Short-term parking charges $1 an hour and $24 a day. • Directions & Transportation: By car, Raleigh-Durham International Airport can be reached via the I-40 then exit 284B or 285, I-540 then exit 2A or the US 70 then exit 293. A bus service is provided by Triangle Transit and provides transportation to the airport from a number of destinations including Durham, Raleigh, Cary and Chapel Hill. A one-way ticket costs $2 and a day pass $4. The taxi service is provided by RDU Taxi. Ranks are located outside terminals 1 and 2. The fare to Raleigh and to Durham is $29.80.
