Richmond International Airport (RIC) is located southeast of Richmond, which is the capital of Virginia, and ir is the fourth busiest airport in the state. RIC deals with nearly 4 million passengers per annum and serves the Richmond area. The airport is used by major airlines, including Air Canada Jazz, US Airways, Delta Connection and Continental Airlines. RIC consists of one terminal building with two concourses, A and B. Flights are to over 20 destinations within the United States of America, popular routes being to cities like Atlanta, Chicago and New York, and to Toronto, Canada.

• Eating & Drinking: Food outlets are provided by Delaware North Companies. Applebee’s and Applebee’s To Go are in the Atrium, Vito’s Market in Concourse A, Cheeburger Cheeburger in Concourse B, Sam Adams Celebrates Richmond in both concourses and Caribou Coffee in all three locations.
• ATM: ATMs, provided by SunTrust Bank and BB&T, are in the North and South parking garage lobbies and on the upper level. For Bureau de Change the BB&T bank is on the upper level.

A shuttle bus service is available to and from the airport. A free, direct phone line is available and located by the baggage claim area.
• Disabled Travelers: Elevators are located throughout the airport and in the parking garages. Every toilet area has at least one adapted stall.
• Parking: Short-term parking is situated opposite the terminal in the garage. The first hour is free then the charge is $2 per hour and $24 per day. Long-term parking is also located opposite the terminal building and available as garage and surface lots. The hourly rate is $3 with a daily maximum of $12. A free shuttle service runs every 10 to 15 minutes bewteen the economy lot and RIC. The rate here is $1 an hour and $7 a day.
• Directions & Transportation: If driving, Richmond International Airport can be reached by the I-64, exit 197A or the I-295, exit 31. A bus service is available through the Greater Richmond Transit Company and provides transportation to the airport from locations throughout Richmond and the surrounding area. Taxis are based next to the garages on the ground level curbside.
