Cyril E. King Airport (STT) is based west of Charlotte Amalie’s business district on St. Thomas Island which is one of the United States' Virgin Islands. It serves both the islands St. Thomas and St. John. Cyril E. King Airport is served by a number of major airlines including American Airlines, United Airlines and Continental Airlines. The airport consists of one terminal building and one runway. Cyril E. King Airport is not only the busiest airport in the US Virgin Islands but also one of the busiest within the eastern region of the Caribbean. The airport is named after the second elected governor of the islands.

• Directions & Transportation: There are buses available at Cyril E. King Airport which provide transportation to the airport but they are not recommended. Taxis are based outside the airport and a one-way trip to Charlotte costs about $7 for one person then $6 for each additional passenger.
