Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the busiest airport in the State of Utah and ranks 23rd in the US, handling over 20 million passengers in 2008. It is the only airport serving commercial passenger traffic in Salt Lake City and the surrounding counties. Delta Airlines, for whom Salt Lake City International Airport is a hub, and its connection carriers account for nearly three quarters of departures. 109 destinations are served by direct flights from Salt Lake City. Most of these are within North America, but non-stop services also link Salt Lake City to Paris and Tokyo. There are two terminals at Salt Lake City International Airport, with Terminal 1 comprising concourses A and B, while Terminal 2 consists of concourses C, D (which handles all international flights) and E.

• ATM: A full-service bank with exchange facilities is operated by Zions Bank (open: 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday) in the Terminal 2 lobby. ATMs can be found throughout the airport, before and after security.
• WiFi: Salt Lake City International Airport provides free WiFi access throughout the terminals.
• Shopping: A range of shops selling gifts, accessories and essentials. A duty-free shop is located in the international departures area, Terminal 2, concourse D.
• Luggage: Luggage carts are available throughout the airport, including the baggage reclaim areas in both terminals, for a $3 charge. The lost property office is located n Terminal 1. • Disabled Travelers: All passenger areas at Salt Lake City International Airport are accessible by ramps and elevators. Restrooms labeled ‘Special Needs’ are provided for the disabled and can be found close to stairs and escalators. Disabled parking spots are situated close to the shuttle stops.
• Lounges: Delta Airlines' Sky Club Lounge is located next to the gift shop between concourses C & D, Terminal 2. It is open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 12:50 a.m.
• Parking: The hourly/daily parking garage is directly adjacent to the terminals. Rates begin at $2 for the first 30 minutes, rising to a daily maximum of $28. The economy parking lot is connected to the terminals by shuttles running every five minutes. Rates begin at $2 for the first hour and $1 for each subsequent hour, up to a daily maximum of $7.
• Directions & Transportation: By road, Salt Lake City International Airport is connected to downtown Salt Lake City via the I-80. Salt Lake City's grid system makes navigation easy, and the airport is well signposted. There is no rail service to Salt Lake City international airport. Utah Transit Authority's bus lines 550, 454 and 453 provide transportation to the airport from downtown Salt Lake City and the Amtrak station. The bus stop is located in the parking area between the terminal buildings. Buses operate 6:00 am–11:00 pm Monday-Saturday, 9:45 am–10:00 pm Sunday and holidays. The single fare is $2. Cabs are on hand outside the arrivals areas, and taxi service booths can be found outside door 7 in Terminal 1 and door 11 in Terminal 2. Fares to downtown destinations average $15.
