Santa Fe, New Mexico is a capital city with a very long history and strong art community. Traveling to this city, you have the option of either landing directly in Santa Fe Municipal Airport, or at the larger Albuquerque Airport and then renting a car for the rest of the way. There are several museums of the arts, including New Mexico Museum of Art and Museum of International Folk Art. For a reconstruction of the Spanish colonial times, visit the Rancho de los Golondrinas. There are many festivals throughout the year, with Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival in the summer and Farolito Walk in the winter to name just two. Outdoor enthusiasts and their families will get their fill of hiking and biking through Santa Fe River Park. The nightlife in Santa Fe is incredible, with Fusion where you can take up some tango lessons, or Camel Rock Casino for some gaming action.

New Mexico is a Southwestern state with a strong Spanish heritage. Albuquerque is the largest city in the state, and offers plenty of tourist attractions. Roswell is the infamous site for the myth of the crashing of a UFO in the late 1940s. There are several pueblos and other Native American sites in the state like the Navajo Nation. For winter months, skiing is popular among the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the Northern part of New Mexico. Hiking is also integral to any visit to this state, with several mountain ranges like the Jemez Mountains and Sandia Mountains.
