Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is the busiest airport in Brazil, with more than 21 million passengers in 2009. The airport, located in the city of Sao-Paulo, is also nicknamed Cumbica International after a military airport which once stood in the same place. Sao Paulo Airport has two terminals, and plans to build two new ones in the upcoming years to serve up to 25 million passengers by 2013. The airport flies Continental Airlines, Delta, and United Airlines with services throughout the United States, and has recently added China to its vast list of destinations.

• ATM: ATMs are available throughout the airport. There are also banks with bureaux de change in the airport's terminals.

• Shopping: There are shops and duty-free facilities available before security in both terminals. After security check, there are very limited services available, however.
• Luggage: Luggage trolleys are available inside the airport. For lost luggage, you can fill out a form with the Malex do Brasil, which is open 24-hours nearby the arrivals.

• Directions & Transportation: To drive to Sao Paulo International Airport, take either the Ayrton Senna or Presidente Dutra highways, and follow the airport signs. From the city center, a public bus runs every 30 minutes to the airport, or you can purchase a ticket in advance for the Executive City Bus, which offers transportation to and from the airport. There are taxis which operate throughout the city, but make sure to agree on the fare before driving.
