Victoria Airport (YYJ) is based northwest of Victoria in North Saanich, British Columbia. The airport deals with approximately 1.5 million passengers per annum and serves the Victoria region. The airport is used by the following airlines: Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, Horizon Air, Island Express Air, Orca Airways, Pacific Coastal Airlines, United Express and WestJet. YYJ consists of one terminal building and three runways. Flights are predominantly to cities within Canada and a small number of major cities in the United States of America. Within British Columbia it is currently the second busiest airport and one of the busiest in the whole country.

• Eating & Drinking: White Spot is a restaurant open from 7am to 8pm. Cafes include Capital Brew Coffee Bar, open from 7am to 11pm, and Tim Hortons, open 5am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and Sunday, and 5am to 5pm on Saturdays.
• ATM: There are two ATMs available: one before the security check-in opposite the gift store and one after in the departures area. Bureau de change is open from 8am to 6pm.

Quality Inn Waddling Dog (250-652-1146) and Victoria Super 8 Motel (250-652-6888) are approximately 3.5 miles away. All provide a shuttle service to and from the airport.
• Disabled Travelers: Elevators are available for the second and third floors of the airport. Adapted toilets are located throughout.
• Parking: Short-term and long-term parking is available. Passengers who spend at least $10 at an airport food outlet get 98¢ taken off their charge. The first 2 hours costs a flat fee of 98¢ then every 30 minutes costs 98¢ with a daily maximum of $14.73 for the initial 5 days followed by a rate of $6.87 per day. • Directions & Transportation: Victoria Airport can be reached by car via Highway 17 or 17A. BC Transit provides transportation to the airport from central Victoria. Route 83 runs to Greater Victoria and costs $2.05 one way. Companies which run services to other cities include Greyhound Bus and Pacific Coach Lines. There are two main taxi companies available: AKAL (250-386-2525) and Yellow Cab (250-381-2222). It is recommended that passengers book at least an hour in advance.
