Zagreb Airport (ZAG) is located southeast of Zagreb which is the capital of Croatia. The airport deals with just over 2 million passengers per year and serves the Zagreb region. Zagreb Airport acts as a hub for Croatia Airlines which is also the Croatian flag carrier. It is composed of one runway and two terminals: a passenger terminal and a VIP terminal. The airport is the main international airport in the country and the majority of flights are to destinations within Europe. It is also known as Pleso Airport which is the name of a suburb situated nearby.

• Eating & Drinking: There is a café, Art Café, located adjacent to the domestic arrivals area on the east side of the passenger terminal which is open from 5.30am to 10pm. Faust Vančić is located on the first level of the passenger terminal.
• ATM: ATMs are based by the baggage claim area and opposite security check-in on the ground level. Bureau de change is also available in the airport.
• Shopping: The Welcome Shop is situated in the departures area and sells products including gifts, souvenirs, fashion, accessories and Duty Free. Other shopping facilities can be found after security.
• Luggage: Baggage claim is located on the ground level of Zagreb Airport. For lost property there is a desk in the central hall or call 385-1456-2229 from 8am and 8pm.
• Airport Hotels: There are no hotels located on site. However, there are a number in close proximity to the airport. These include Hotel Arcotel Allegra (1469-6000), Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Panorama Zagreb (1365-8333), Hotel Holiday (385-1349-6621), Hotel International (1610-8800) and Sheraton Hotel Zagreb (1455-3535). • Disabled Travelers: An elevator is located opposite the security check-in area on the first floor. Toilets are mainly located on the ground level.
• Lounges: Zrinjevac is a business lounge for Business Class passengers only. There are three VIP lounges open from 7am to 10.30pm. They can be hired hourly for $131 plus VAT. The Diners Club International Airport Lounge, on the first floor, opens from 8am to 8pm.
• Parking: There are three parking lots available: P1 is based to the right of the airport terminal adjacent to bus stop 01, P3 is to the left of the terminal building and P2 is furthest away from the airport. P1 and P3 cost $2.75 per hour for the first three hours then 55¢ per hour. P2 rates are $1.80 per hour for the first three hours then 37¢ per hour. For more information contact 1456-2456.
• Directions & Transportation: By car, Zagreb Airport can be reached by Route 30. There is a bus service which provides transportation to the airport from Zagreb every half an hour from 7am to 8pm and a ticket costs $5.50. A railway station is located about 6 miles from the terminals and buses are available to and from the airport. Taxis are located outside the airport. However, passengers should reserve a taxi through Radio Taksi Zagreb. The starting rate is $3.50 followed by $1.30 per kilometer.
